I acknowledge the First Nations peoples of the land that I work, play, gather and dance on, the Turrbal and Yuggera people, and their connections to the land, winds and waters.

I acknowledge the deep relationship, connection and responsibility of First Nations people to land, sea, sky and Country. The Country is sacred. Everything on the land has meaning and all people are one with it. I acknowledge First Nations peoples’ sacred connection as central to culture and being. I pay my respect to Elders, past and present and First Nations people.
